“Have you got a train ticket to home?” It’s common to hear in many conversation in China these days. No wonder, the special Spring Festival travel season is coming !
As the Chinese New Year is coming soon, many migrant labors are going to go home. However, it is not easy for them to get a train ticket to home. According to the rules of ticket purchasing by Railway Department, the ID information is needed to get a train ticket and you can book a ticket before 20 days by telephone(95105105) , on website(www.12306.cn) or at the ticket office.
But why it is so diffcult to get a train ticket? It is mainly because the transportaion is concentrated in these days. It’s really a burdon for Railway to transport hundreds of thousands of people within one or two weeks. Therefore, as the ticket is limited everyday, it is certainly not enough to fulfill the requirements.
Anyway, the CNY holiday is the most improtant festival for all Chinese, there are always other ways for those who haven’t got a train ticket to home.
